Lindsey Weber

About

Lindsey Weber received their BFA in Printmaking from the University of Montana in 2010. After graduation, they became the print shop coordinator and outreach educator for the Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC), where they witnessed firsthand printmaking’s impact on the Missoula community. At the ZACC, patrons used the print shop to create t-shirts for garage bands, yard signs for political campaigns, and fliers for local businesses—examples of how printmaking’s accessibility could connect people and empower civic engagement.

After moving to Nebraska, Weber continued to promote printmaking as a public good by teaching workshops in public schools and art nonprofits. Their education and studio practice now align with community activism, with a focus on promoting safe spaces for queer Nebraskans.

Weber received the Nebraska Individual Artist Fellowship Grant in 2022. Their upcoming solo exhibitions will explore queer culture and symbols.

As a studio artist and designer, Weber's work explores themes of memory, identity, and place through printmaking, mixed media, and installation. As a designer they have collaborated with clients such as the Missouri Botanical Garden, Insight Theater, and St. Louis Shakespeare Company, as well as independently owned and operated businesses, to create illustrations, branding, and custom artwork.
